Reporting [VU]Inferno [Accepted, Temporary Demoted lvl 0]
« on: February 09, 2012, 02:58:07 pm »
Player's name: [VU]Inferno

Date: 3 minutes ago

Reason: Unexplained freeze

Evidence / Remarks:

Good day folks,

It is not in my nature to snitch on people but since I have the time and nothing else other than this to do, I'll get right to it. First of all though, I need to be told a few things. I have two base questions to ask before going deeper into my report:

  • Is this a deathmatch server?
  • Is typekilling allowed?
  • Is stealing other peoples' vehicles punishable through freezes?

The reason to why I am posting this is because I am getting the strange vibe that either I get confused by the name of the server or the admins themselves forget where they're at. Deathmatch servers exist for a reason, mainly killing people. Dying on a deathmatch server while riding a bike isn't really a pain to most like myself but since it's apparently a server wide prohibition* to ride other peoples' bikes on this server. This is where the second question may step in since I did type-kill him 7 times in a row.

14(120914:124514:124214) <@SQCrewY> 15>14> 10[0] 6[VU]Inferno: ill use my rightas

Now, back to the report. I have been doing what I was supposed to do on this server but in case I'll be accused of hiding my weak little ass behind lies, I'll just list exactly what I did:

  • Joined the server.
  • Killed a random newbie a few times.
  • Started type-killing Inferno.
  • Typekilled him on his bike at one instance and ended up getting frozen for riding the bike.

If I have missed out anything, oh pretty please do be kind enough to post it here.

I do not want to brag but I know about administration just a little more than Inferno does and I myself can certify this as administration abuse, yet I demand an answer for the next question in above list, question 3.

A short recollection of the events after the incident can be seen on this screenshot:

I have nothing else to write at the moment.

Everyone knows i rage alot, but i made that CLEAR before applying, that i rage when the concern comes to my bike, and maybe i can abuse my rights. So if that thing comes to demotion,i am totally fine with it.Even castagna ever steals my bike,i freeze him and take it back and then unfreeze.
Let me correct your quote
"I had already made it clear
That if anyone steals my biket
Ill use my rights"
You know, how much i am addicted to ride bikes, and i cant control that temptation,so please try not to steal my bike when i am going to stunt.
I am ready for demotion if i did abuse without notice.
You can kill me as many times you want, even kill me when i am on a bike,BUT don't really steal it.Now ill leave it to others to state their opinions.

What you've stated in your application is, not meant to be taken offensively, none of my business. You are not supposed to vent anger through admin commands. As an administrator, your job is to make the server a place where people can have fun, not the other way around.

Freezing people because your bike was jacked by them is utter bullshit if you ask me, there's a ****-ton of those mapped around the entire city.

You and the regulars in the admin team might joke around a lot like this but other, regular players with a 0 admin level, might take this serious because people like myself for instance do not play on EA too much.

So yeah, I'd just want to say one last thing - know your level and represent it well.

Okay i got your point of joining my emotions with my admin rights and blah blah blah.I feel that i shouldnt do this with players.I personally apologize to you for this case. You are more experienced than me,so you got more information than me.I got my mistake, and i am sorry for it.Can this be ended now,Ill end this with my demotion.

Well it's obvious that the server is a TDM, since the friendly fire is on and there are teams (exept 2 DM skins)

Typekilling is a bit unpredictable to put it onto rules though.

You know, everybody rages when you got typekilled but is not such a reason to defend Inferno's behaivor. This actitude is unacceptable, i think that Inferno knows about this he can handle himself. Everybody are free to drive all the cars in the server, there's no reason to use rights to stop it.

Thanks for reporting, I will take a decition soon.

Unfortunately, I've just got PMed by Inferno and he decided to take a break and resing his administrator rank for indefinitely time. Both reached an arragement, and coincide that he needs a time to work at his actitude and be more efficient at administration duties.
